Required Documents For Dormitory Application

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING APPLICATIONS FOR DORMITORY

  • I AM AN ERASMUS STUDENT, I CAN'T RECEIVE A HEALTH REPORT. WHAT CAN I DO?

Caption saying "I will send the "Health report to the Accommodation Services Department with Name Surname / Date until 31.10.2018" should be attached and uploaded. The related documents must be delivered to the department until the stipulated date. This is valid for students who are abroad for internship and Erasmus.

  • CAN I UPLOAD THE DOCUMENTS LATER?

Students who want to benefit from the dormitory facilities should apply by uploading the related documents throughout the announced application period. Applications completed before uploading the documents are not evaluated.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I APPLY WITH MISSING AND / OR INCORRECT DOCUMENTS?

Applications completed with missing or incorrect documents will not be approved and the system will automatically send an email to the relevant student. The documents should be reviewed again, and the application should be done again with complete and correct documents.

  • WHERE CAN I GET MY HEALTH REPORT?

The health report can be obtained from State Hospitals, Family Physicians in Health Centers or Private Hospitals.

  • IS IT MANDATORY TO HAVE THESE BLOOD TESTS AND CHEST RADIOGRAPH?

There is no obligation to have a blood test or radiograph. A blood test may be requested in line with the doctor's observations.

  • I HAVE UPLOADED THE DOCUMENTS REQUESTED IN THE FIRST REGISTRATION PERIOD, DO I HAVE TO UPLOAD THEM AGAIN?

The documents requested during online application must be uploaded to the system.

  • CAN MY FAMILY UPLOAD MY DOCUMENTS ON MY BEHALF?

Documents can be uploaded by entering your username and password.

  • DO I HAVE TO UPLOAD MY LETTER OF PERMISSION?

Letter of permission is for foreign students. Turkish students may disregard this section.

  • WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY DOCUMENT ISN'T ACCEPTED?

After the application is rejected, the dormitory specialist sends an email about the rejection and if there is a problem in the document / documents the student is informed.  The relevant student should re-enter the application system and s/he should re-apply for the dormitory online with the correct documents.

  • DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING AFTER MY APPLICATION IS APPROVED?

After checking the documents, you have uploaded to the system, an automatic information message is transmitted by the system if there is no problem. There is nothing else that needs to be done.

  • I AM HAVING PROBLEMS IN THE UPLOADING PROCESS, WHAT SHOULD I HAVE TO DO?

  • DOES APPLYING THROUGH UPLOADING THE DOCUMENTS GUARANTEE MY ACCESS TO THE DORMITORY?

The applications of our students who apply for dormitories by uploading their documents are evaluated according to the criteria.

  • WHAT IS THE VALIDITY OF THE DOCUMENTS I HAVE UPLOADED?

The health report must have been received within a year and all other documents must have been received within one month before the application date.

  • CAN I DOWNLOAD DOCUMENTS THROUGH THE E-GOVERNMENT SYSTEM?

Documents obtained from the e-government system are valid.
